Cracker Barrel Restaurant Nutritional Information. We have a type 1 diabetic child in the household and need all menu items with carb counts please.
My husband is diabetic and I need to reduce my carb intake and we wanted to go out for dinner. We tried Cracker Barrel and it was really nice to see that they had a whole section of low carb/carb free menu items. Not only did they offer this type of food but they also show you how many carbs/calories the meal has. Not too many places offer this. The food was not bad and I always love the atmosphere. What's also great is they offer breakfast for dinner which made my daughter very happy that she could order pancakes for dinner. Great job Cracker Barrel in staying in touch with people's needs on healthy food choices. We will definitely be back again. If you have parents/in-laws that love Cracker Barrel, then you will not disappoint them by taking them here. It's safe. It will feel like home - or any other Cracker Barrel. Me personally, I like places with vintage decor, but there are a bunch of them. I'm not a country fan, and I think that's where my dichotomy exists with Cracker Barrel. I kind of prefer going to places with more of a New England flare than just taking my visiting relatives to Cracker Barrel, which kind of feels more like Virginia than Connecticut. I really like their chicken (I think I've liked everything I've eaten there so far), and I have always found the service to be really good, so I can't give them a bad rating. I worry a little bit that my parents are consuming far too much fat. You may want to call ahead - they can get very busy. Although they may or may not reserve a table, at least knowing the wait time is helpful.','url':'http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g33771-d386075-r95241523-Cracker_Barrel-East_Windsor_Connecticut.html','og_descr':'Cracker Barrel: Great Place if you are on a carb free diet/diabetic diet - See 66 traveler reviews, 99 candid photos, and great deals for East Windsor, CT, at TripAdvisor.
Cracker Barrel - posted in Restaurant Eating: Anyone else eat at this place? They have a good low carb menu that helps me quite a bit when I eat out. It's the only.
